I survived my 21st birthday.

It's official.

I just finished off the semster with a 4.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


*does a happy dance*

Good times.

I feel like ME again! I'm not coming home ranting about sales figures and strange customers...I'm coming home and telling my roommate cute little kid stories and how I got that huge blob of blue paint on my pantleg. I really enjoy where I am. I still get a little frustrated sometimes, I know I'd be ten times happier at a Montessori school where I feel most comfortable and productive...but I really think this is the next best thing.
The weather is beautiful...add about 20 more points to my good mood meter.
AAAAND the birthday countdown begins. *evil grin*

Transition time!

So ends my days as a retail manager. I must admit, I have mixed feelings. I really met some great people along the way. I've met some really inspiring, memorable families that I hope to cross paths with again someday. I had a few really excellent coworkers that made the long days more bearable. But all the same, I know I am doing something better for myself. I have a few days of downtime, then it's back to the education field. Everytime I tell someone about my new job, I feel the excitement all over again-that's how I know. My gut's telling me this is right. I can't wait.
